What we collect
- Account details: name, email, phone, title and organization. If you sign in with LinkedIn or Google, we receive your name, email address and profile photo from them, and nothing else.
- Business information you enter or upload, including financial documents.
- Activity: deals you view, save or request, used to improve recommendations.
Financial documents
Tax returns and financial uploads are stored privately and are visible only to you and the deal team members you invite. They are never placed in a data room or shown to buyers unless you upload them there yourself. You can delete them at any time. Business tax returns can contain Social Security numbers; we don't ask for them and recommend redacting them before uploading.
Who sees your information
Buyers see only what you publish: an anonymous teaser, then confidential details and documents if you approve their request. We use service providers for hosting, email delivery and security, under confidentiality obligations. We do not sell personal information.
We send account and deal-related emails you need. The Dealswirl Digest and other marketing emails are sent only if you opt in, and every one includes an unsubscribe link.
Your choices
You can update your information in Settings, export or delete your data by contacting us, and close your account at any time.
Security
We use encrypted connections, private file storage, permission checks on every document, optional two-factor login and passkeys, and required two-factor login for staff.
